What data we process
Depending on how you contact us or place an order, we may process:
Contact details (name, e-mail, phone, company, shipping address)
Order and project details (quantity, material, colour, deadlines, notes)
Uploaded 3D files and reference files (e.g. STL, STEP, photos, sketches)
Communication content (e-mail, WhatsApp, phone notes)
Technical data needed to operate the website (IP address, browser type, timestamps, cookies where used)
Payment and invoice data via our shop and payment providers
Purposes and legal bases
We process data to provide quotes, manufacture and ship parts, communicate with you, run the website and shop, meet legal obligations, and protect our systems. Legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract / pre-contract), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation), and where needed Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests such as IT security and fraud prevention).
Uploads and confidentiality
Uploaded model files are used only to review printability, prepare production and fulfil your order or enquiry. We do not sell your models. Access is limited to people involved in quoting and production.
Recipients and processors
We use service providers where necessary, for example Shopify (online store), hosting for the quote engine, shipping carriers (e.g. DHL / FedEx), and payment providers. Providers process data only as needed to deliver their service and under appropriate agreements.
Storage period
We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose or as required by commercial and tax law. Enquiry files that do not lead to an order may be deleted earlier once the enquiry is closed.
Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies or similar technologies may be required for the shop and language preference. Non-essential tracking is used only where legally permitted (consent where required).
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In North Rhine-Westphalia this is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit NRW.
